Les Terrasses - Montsauche-les-Settons

The view is beautiful and the terrace is beautiful. but the food and the hospitality are disappointing. the salat was just a pre-fab salad as they buy in food store and they can not order the crepes on the menu.

Having read the reviews for this and other restaurants around the Lac des Settons, I did not have high expectations. However, having ordered a Panaché which in a restaurant you would expect to be made of genuine beer mixed with lemonade, we were struck to...be served what obviously was the canned version. Price was still for the genuine one though. Based on this, I would not trust this place with food.

It's a simple restaurant with local food, clean and well organized. We took the Euro Menu Du Jour menu of the day For first course we had an Assiete De Charcuterie a plate with several kinds of sausages and an...Assiete de Crudités a plate with different kinds of raw vegetables and salads that we shared, both very good. For second course we had deep fried tiny fish with green salad. The fish are eaten in one bite, except the head, of course. It was tasty and interesting. The sauce of the different kinds of lettuce salad was very good. For dessert we had Tarte Abricot (apricot tart and ice cream, both good. We added a liter about ounce red wine pitcher and coffee for Euro. The coffee was very good. The food was simple, tasty, sufficient quantity. Service was friendly and efficient. We recommend.

If there's a restaurant or go when you're at the lake of the settons stops this one! we arrived at noon and a half on 13 August and we were welcomed very warmly the three waitress and waitresses were very smiling despite the hundred people who were present on the terrace inside! We took in salads that were extremely good! In the flat we opted for salted pancakes that were perfect! I never had such good food! and dessert we have taken chocolate mousse and burned cream! extra even if my cream burned was a little too burnt to my taste .bon ratio quality prices!The dogs are allowed on the terrace! !!P.S : I love the humor of the boss!

We were 2 and took a salmon steak with a full crêpe and an inlet frying. The plates are well trimmed and excellent! a real pleasure!The team is nice and the prices are very affordable!The dogs are accepted on the terrace.
