Restaurant Nozy - Montréal

I LOVE trying new restaurants and that's what I want to share with you, any chance I'll get! You'll also find that I'm quite the critic, sometimes a tad harsh but hey, it's not show friends, it's show business! ITHQ grad in restaurant management, j'ai toujours quelque chose à dire et je cherche toujours à vous faire rire!

I frequent restaurants often, like, a LOT! With this blog and all, it feels like a second (unpaid) job that I enjoy. I usually prefer budget-friendly restaurants, but once in a while, I like to indulge. Splurging is good for the soul, or so they say. Nozy had caught my attention for some time, so when Lea suggested we try it out, I was totally on board. By the way, for those wondering about the name 'Nozy', it comes from chef Nozomu Takeuchi. The restaurant is small, with around 30 seats, and the decor is mostly white. I found it quite pleasing, as it looked very clean and peaceful. The white walls, chairs, and hanging cloth pieces created a serene atmosphere. In contrast, the tables were black, and there were small wooden objects on the walls that resembled pasta portioners.

I really like this small restaurant! The atmosphere is peaceful and perfect for a cozy meal for two. I love the diverse menu options and the fact that the main dishes are often accompanied by tasty sides. If you're feeling generous, I recommend ordering the fried chicken as a side and sharing it with your companion. It's delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will definitely return in the future.

Overall very good experience the food was good we took the omakase and 1 extra Toro-don with uni on top and seriously it was heaven. I gave 4/5 because I didn't enjoy the salad ... it taste like any sushi buffet wakame salad ..... nothing special to be part of the omakase in my perspective .... will definitely comeback to this restaurant I recommend

Small Japanese restaurant with a interesting menu. The price is affordable. The dishes are well-made and well-balanced in terms of ingredients. The service is quite quick and friendly.<br/ <br/ D&G will go back again!
