We had quite a good dinner there, I can not deny it. Strangely the restaurant was completely empty on that evening. We had made an online booking which was never confimed. The waiter (owner? was too present around our table and insisted TWICE that we should please leave him a 5-star review on Google. First time took place before we even had received the food... This is a little disturbing for me.
This was our first visit after the pandemic enforced hiatus. They have moved a few doors down on the other side of St Laurent Blvd. The food was as delicious as we remembered. Lamb Madras was excellent and very spicey! Beef curry was a little less spicey and also very good. All in all, Mysore continues to be one of the best if not the best Indian restaurant in town!
After trying several Indian restaurants who’s reviews claimed that the food tastes like authentic Indian food and always being disappointed we were so pleased when we tried Mysore . We went on a Wednesday evening . It is a nice family run restaurant with a nice ambience. The owner who was very sweet actually served us and recommend the best combo for my husband and I . The food is fresh and with just the right amount of seasoning. We have ordered and had it delivered and we found it amazing but having the food in the restaurant is ten times better. We had a combo CC on the menu , everything was so fresh the vegetable pakora samosa ‘s , the Naan bread hot fresh out of the oven . We also enjoyed the butter chicken , beef , rice , chickpeas and how can I forget it also comes with a dessert. We have also tried in the past the pakora (lentils assorted vegetables and the cucumber dip which were also so yummy. This has become my favourite place and will go back .
