The lightening is just perfect and it provides cozy and intimate atmosphere for a very enjoyable diner. I ordered a pasta dish call ‘’ail bocconcini ‘’. The ingredients were of high quality and fresh. The flavors were well balanced with the perfect amount of olive oil, tomato sauce, bocconcini and garlic. The texture was unctuous, yet not over bathed in oil. It was a symphony of flavor for the palate! Main dish comes with a salad and appetizer. I had the cesar salad which was nice and crispy and roasted vegetables accompanied by balsamic reduction and goat cheese coulis. We also ordered divine garlic bread. To finish, I had a huge piece of delicious chocolate cake. My friend had pollo lemone pasta with popcorn cheese cake for dessert. We loved our culinary experience. In this Italian restaurant, no compromise and no work around. Just high-end products and perfect dishes cooked by a great chef. Because of the generous quantity, I had wonderful left-over pasta and chocolate cake the following night. As for our waiter Kevin, he was truly a real gem. He offered a great and warm experience. His service was flawless and he was attentive to provide everything we needed to enjoy a great dinning experience. Also, a great , he provided water abundantly!!! I also found myself reassured by the proper sanitary measures taken, from the verification of the sanitary passport to the plexiglass between tables. The place is spotless and it is worth your while to do the bathroom experience! Right in the heart of the gay village, closed to downtown and the subway, this remains a very accessible place. You can bring your own wine and there is a SAQ nearby. The pricing is very reasonable for the amount of food and quality of the dishes. I will be happy to convert other friends to this new finding! Bravo to all the staff and owners of Restaurant Mozza Pates et Passion!
Absolutely charming restaurant. The service and food were excellent. Our friends were very happy to join us. Thank you all so much!
We had a great time at this restaurant, enjoying our meal and the view from the patio. The pizza and pasta were delicious and the service was attentive. It's BYOB as there is no alcohol menu. The washrooms were surprisingly amazing. The Gay Village has lots to offer and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend both the area and this restaurant.
Based on the suggestion of the owner of the bed and breakfast we were staying at, we decided to have dinner at Mozza and we were delighted that we did. The Caesar salad was the best I've had in a long time, and the pasta and pizza were delicious. The minestrone soup was also yummy. There were plenty of vegetarian options available. The service was good and you can bring your own alcohol. If we lived in Montreal, we would definitely visit Mozza often.
The restaurant primarily serves pasta and it is a bit pricey for what you get, but the dishes are unique and worth the extra cost. The portion sizes are not huge, but still satisfying. The service was excellent and knowledgeable. Although it is a small establishment, the staff takes good care of their customers. The restrooms are also worth a visit.
