Restaurant Le Fripon - Montréal

We decided to stop by because they had heated outdoor seating and opened early. We were so glad we did. The French/American style breakfast was fantastic.

I tried the pizza at this restaurant. The prices are a bit high because it's located in a popular tourist area. Our server was lovely, despite what other reviews may say.

Located in the charming old Montreal, this restaurant offers outdoor seating on the cobblestone road, providing a picturesque dining experience. We decided to take a chance and search for a menu that would satisfy our kids.

It was a horrible experience made far worse by the owner. When we pointed out the food was over cooked nothing was done to resolve the issue. The food was taken away but we were fully charged. The owner was nothing short of rude.The owner argued the food was cooked properly. I realize this is a tourist restaurant but clearly repeat business is not important. There are lots of choices of restaurant on this street and I would not recommend this one.

Friendly staff and prompt service were highlights of our lunchtime visit. I had Pizza Margarite and my wife had lasagna. Both were very good but too big to finish.
