Restaurant Costa Del Sol - Montréal

Costa de Sol is a nice and well located restaurant In the heart of Saint Leonard where one can enjoy a meal and dance all night long! The food is mediocre if we compare it to other nearby Italian restaurants. The menu can be improved in terms of variety; not enough selected to my liking. Moreover, the dishes are over-priced for what one receives. On the other hand, there is a one-man band who sings relentlessly all night long! Merci Gilles . We closed the restaurant around 11ish savouring a half empty glass of Baileys; just enough liquor to damp my lips. The restaurant has a lot of potential, but of a few things need to be brushed up!

We were the whole family, about 70 people, to celebrate an uncle's birthday. I knew the place well for having been often to eat lunch from the noon when I worked nearby. I talked about it in good condition and saying that we would eat well; I was bitterly deceived! The rosy sauce was tasteless and lasagna was too salty. The salad dressing from the entrance was too present, there were too many so we were making grimaces! The chicken cream was the only dish without negative comments! Service... I'm not saying! cold waitress and without intent to help or accommodate the client. a person simply wanted a plate to share with his child: refused! Take a kid's dish she said! at the price of dishes (above the average for this quality; less expensive $25!, the said person would have gone well to have to pay the price of a plate that the child finally did not eat!Another person wanted shrimp ... $3 of the shrimp, coldly answered from the waitress! So friendly!!!The waitress even spent me at two inches from the nose to put the soup bowl in front of me while I was in full conversation! We all noticed, it was a big deal! We said on several occasions that she should change her job if she doesn't like her work because ... it seemed like a bine crime that she didn't want to be there!!Bright, if you have a choice, make it a better than this!

We went on a Saturday to celebrate parties. a correct service no more and too many people so we didn't feel the air conditioning. very good music on Saturday the singer is annoying :) beautiful evening. The food's not that bad.

For the 50th wedding anniversary of my step-parents, we invited parents and friends. It was very hot and sat on each other. In the absence of a waitress, the service was more than average. almost no smiles, forgotten orders, and even wine spilled on the table, without any excuse because the waitress was too much moved. expensive for served food (I would compare to a Greek casa type restaurant). The singer was good, but we had enough to hear the same song for all the parties. The decor would need to be rebuilt!

Been to this reception hall for several parties, i.e. fundraisers, weddings, anniversaries and the food has always been great as well as good service.
