Absolutely fabulous neighborhood restaurant that is BYOW! LOVE THE casseolette in winter, sticks to your ribs. And the bread is always scrumptious.
I had the venison, and it was without a doubt the best i have ever had. perfectly cook with a then red middle. Juicy as can be.
I have eaten here on every one of my four visits to Montreal and always my best experience. If you want to enjoy an excellent meal in a cozy friendly atmosphere by a very attentive staff, go here. They are unusual in that they only have two sittings, 7:00 and 8:30 I believe, and you bring your own beer/wine which they serve to you, but the food and staff are the very best.
Have dined here many times. Food is first rate - duck is exceptional. Andre is the best host in the city. Highly recommend.
