The highlight was the Almond Croissant - delicious. The location is a little hard to find - upstairs in the Market. Glad we found it - we were looking for a great French Bakery in Montreal and I think this is one. If you are in the Atwater Market stop by and see what they have. I can recommend it.
Que du bonheur, le pain est vraiment bon ainsi que la pâtisserie, on peut aussi se délecter sur place.
For lunch we had the turkey sandwich and the chicken and avocado sandwich. The turkey sandwich was nothing special but the chicken and avocado sandwich was excellent. The real specialties here are the pastries which rate 5 stars. Definitely not to be missed. The chocolate pastries especially are excellent. There are a lot of great pastry stores in Montréal but this one is up at the top. We look forward to going there again next time we’re in Montréal.
Stopped here for a light lunch when walking around Atwater Market. I got a small container of their heart of palm salad, which I rarely see in many delis or bakeries. It was scrumptious! They have many other cold salads and dishes which looked tasty.
All their baked goods look fabulous (perfectly baked). I tried the chocolate brownie and was not disappointed -- rich decadent chocolate taste, moist, and chewey. This exceeded my expectations for excellence. In the past I have also tried their hot prepared foods (baked salmon, etc) which were excellent.
