Oh Yummy - Montréal

We have ordered delivery from this restaurant twice. The staff is very friendly, but the food is only average. Unfortunately, we do not plan on ordering from here again and would not recommend it to others.

I ordered from Just Eat and got the peanut butter chicken and kung pao chicken. The peanut butter chicken was inedible - it felt like they just rubbed peanut butter on battered chicken without making it into a sauce first. The kung pao chicken was mostly cut up celery and carrots, with lightly battered and soggy chicken. The only positive was the friendly and happy delivery man. Do not order from here.

Not wanting to eat buffet, we decided on this small out of the way place.The location is on Monk blvd. across the street from a famous J.C. pharmacy. I say this because if you blink, you can miss it and drive right by. The lighting is so dim, we thought that this place was closed. Small with maybe 4 tables.They seem to cater more to take-out. In any event , we were here why not try it. Service was quick , friendly and the person serving us was helpful. We order 2 dishes. 1 a dish called the 'happy family ' which was very good and lots of flavor.It had shrimps, chicken and beef (all a little overcooked except the veggies were sauted nicely. 2 The other dish was something called chicken lo mein...It was just blah..Just chicken thighs and spaghetti noodles, with a very mild brown sauce.It had hardly any taste , and absolutely no colour...It might have been better with a few veggies just for added appearance , if not for taste. The prices were average ,.Dish no.1 was 14.99 and dish 2 was 7.99....If we return , and we might...just because of the friendly people....we will defintely order something more flavourful and with more colours(i.e. veggies

I ordered takeaway from Oh Yummy on a Saturday night. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful. I requested a dish that typically includes chicken thigh meat, but the chef graciously offered to make it with breast meat instead. The chef was very pleasant and accommodating. The food was delicious and came in a generous portion size. The quality of the meat exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend Oh Yummy for a satisfying weekend takeaway meal.

Ordered in from this little quaint Chinese restaurant expecting it to be terrible due to it's appearance..
