Novanta Cafe - Montréal

Lattes here were good! The place was busy so we waited in line and ordered to go, but the barista was very friendly.The italian Pastries looked good, I might try one next time.There are several seating options for those looking to work or meet; can be a bit less intimate if sitting next to a group at larger meeting table, but this seems to be the reality in many small coffee shops, so no complaints!

You are greeted as soon as you enter the door by Masrco, the cheerful barista and owner. It's hard to resist the lunchtime pizza made by his brother Rocco with the pizza dough second-to-non. Top off your meal with the best espresso in the Mile End along with a piece of almond-limoncello cake. By the time you leave Marco will know your name and remember it the next time you walk in.

Un magnifique petit endroit où le café es délicieux et le service impeccable ! Parfait pour un beau petit moment tranquille ou un bon café pour emporter !

My favorite place either to stop and 1) have a coffee, 2) talk, 3) have lunch, 4) work, 5) make friends, 6) have dessert, 7) take a pause of whatever I am doing!

Ran into Novanta Cafe on a cold day for a quick break from our walk. We ordered tea and immediately struck up conversation with the shop owner, Marco, who was wonderful. Ended up spending an hour or so hanging in the cafe, ordering a FABULOUS fresh cannoli, and hot chocolate. What a find - this place captures the feel of an Italian coffee shop in a great way - and the owners are incredible. Can't recommend enough!
