While it may not be a top dining destination, it's a reasonable option if you happen to be in the area. I've been going there for a long time, although I'm not sure if the owners are still Greek.
I finally found Stepho's Vancouver restaurant in NDG! The food was amazing and the delivery was fast too. My only complaint was that the Greek salad could have included cucumbers and green peppers. I will definitely be ordering from them again!
The mixed pork plate with a variety of sides like fries, rice, or Greek potatoes is excellent. However, the options for house salad, Caesar salad, or Greek salad are not as impressive. The Greek salad is tasty but has only two olives. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, allowing for a leisurely dining experience without feeling rushed.
Great. I was at nikas with my man, and we both ordered their record of 4 smiling $21.95 each. the flesh was soou hard, it was barely edible. we couldn't cut it with our cute. we had to keep the bargains in our hands and literally saw them from the bones how wolves would do with their prey! the bill came to control $50 included). when I told the waiter about our catastrophic experience, he simply said that this lamb dish was served on the same night to another client who had not made any negative comments. with others, the waiter just didn't believe us! for almost 10 years we have been regularly at nikas. but this status will soon become real irregular at an early stage only it is impossible to make a sunny side on a hard one. so long, nikas!
Very nice waiter. The food however was simply not up to par! Calimari rubbery, “ grec salad “, I don’t think so! Steak and pepperoni sub with very little meat. Fries just ok! I will not go back. Sorry.
