I went to this restaurant a few times over the years with friends and alone. It was a great experience tasting the food at this little restaurant and the take out counter in Ville lasalle.
I rarely visit LaSalle and I'm not very familiar with the area, but I did have a lunch in this restaurant recently, which I found reasonably good. Pizza was indeed worthy. Souvlaki is fresh and juicy. The service was pretty ordinary and I had no complaints whatsoever.
Their pizza is to die for, but everything else is just okay. Good pea soup, good scampis, good butterfly shrimp, good but dry chicken breast, good spaghetti but meatballs were dry, I had one of their specials, a trio of pasta au gratin, which included 1 canneloni - dry, didn't eat it, good macaroni and what was supposed to be lasagna, but all I found were lasagna noodles, no stuffing, all topped with mountains of melted cheese, which I couldn't eat. Everyone else said their meal was good, but just a tad overcooked. All meals were served on platters = gigantic portions, & came with rice, 2 big roasted(?) potato wedges & a house salad, which was iceberg lettuce with a creamy dressing. House wine was not good at all. Good coffee. The usual included desserts - jello, rice pudding or kind of a bread pudding. Spectacular service, I kid you not. No music. Would have preferred a comfy booth, but we were 7, so had to eat at a long table instead. Small parking lot in front, you might have to use the street.
The best pizza in town!!! The souvlaki pita is also really good...
