Maurizio Resto-Cafe-Bar - Montréal

This place has good food but i was not crazy about the service. they were a little bit rude for my liking

My husband I went for dinner with a couple of friends to Cafe Maurizio and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The pasta dishes were made deliciously with homemade sauces and the pizza was very tasty. Service was top notch! Don't forget to leave room for dessert..we had the Portuguese tart which was excellent. We shall be back and highly recommend this restaurant :

I was very excited to try out this restaurant after receiving a Tuango offer. I thought it was a great idea since the restaurant is close by and we go out to eat at least three times a week. The fact that we could bring our own wine only added to the appeal. I hoped that if we enjoyed our experience, we would become regular customers. Unfortunately, our visit didn't go as smoothly as we had hoped. When the waitress found out we had a Tuango voucher, her demeanor changed as if we were being cheap. The restaurant was busy with a group of 30 to 40 people, and the tables around us were dirty. There were also young children making a lot of noise, and no one asked them to quiet down. To top it off, I ordered chicken parmigiana but received veal instead. The chef insisted it was chicken, but I know what I ordered. The meal was decent, but I would have preferred the chicken. The server did try to make amends by offering us extra dessert and coffee, which we appreciated. I have another Tuango voucher and hope to give this restaurant another chance. I believe that new customers should be welcomed warmly in the hopes of earning their repeat business. As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of good service to retain customers, whether they have coupons or not.

A cozy little restaurant at the end of a strip mall on Blvd. St-Charles, Cafe Maurizio is a nice place to meet a friend for lunch and then an afternoon of shopping ! The lunch specials are written on a blackboard and gives it a quaint quality. The service is friendly but the food is average. Not a place for large groups as they are inadequately staffed at the front and back of the house and it takes a very long time to get served. But ideal for two or four people dining together.

The service was incredible, family oriented and warm but also quick! The food was authentic Italian cuisine good portions, made from scratch, savoury. The terrasse in the back is GORGEOUS!! Such a beautiful spot for any occasion. Overall a fantastic choice on Saint Laurent street.
