It was so good. nSkip the limonade yuzu, it wasn 't impressive. n nThe Tamago Sando i suggest u to add the smoked salmon to give it more taste, unless you just feel like having an egg sandwhich. nWe also tried the Katsu Sando, really tasty. nI recommend the chicken Karaage! Worth it! There 's something with the sauce that is so good ?
The sandwiches are too good that I had to take a second portion and overeat! No regret tho. I recommend both the Egg and fried chicken. The bread is SOFT (like crazy soft and a little sweet, which compliments the savory fillings. The tea is super natural and high quality. Love that the hot tea is in a tea pot so you can have a large amount of it. The place isn't like your usual coffee shop. There is a DJ (music not super loud , a lot of seats and a beautiful back yard. It's a good spot to chill and work on your papers. I wish they had more food options to snack on! Looking foward to my next visit :
Great place for coffee. Pastries were not prime. They were not fresh. I will come back for the japanese food though. Incredible atmosphere to hang out with friends. Will not be your option to work since music is a bit high. Really different from a regular coffee shop. Definitely recommended.
Hands down the best brunch place in Montreal! The tamogo and karaage sandwich was very filling, and the ingredients are all fresh and very well-seasoned. The yuzu sauce in the karaage sandwich is quite exquisite and a cherry on top of the juicy fried chicken. The matcha latte was also very rich in flavour and not too sweet. The wifi connection is very fast and stable, and I love the ambience of the cafe, the lighting was perfect for Instagram pictures and stories. Overall, the dining experience here was great and I'll definitely visit again with friends.
It is a very aesthetic cafe with great vibes for studying, working, and taking pictures for social media. The drinks were good but the food was pretty disappointing and looks a lot better than it tastes. We ordered the tomago sando and katsu curry to eat, a hojicha latte and osmo fog to drink, and a matcha and white chocolate cookie to go. Was really excited to try the tomago sando after seeing it on social media but the egg was over cooked and not gooey enough, lacked flavour, and was loaded with too much sauce (Japanese mayo I think). It was nice to try but not something I'd get again. The katsu curry was really tasty but the portion size is small for $15. The matcha and white chocolate chip cookie had a good balance of flavours but was on the harder side would've preferred softer and chewier cookie. Overall, a cool cafe to visit and would go back to grab a latte with a friend but would probably go elsewhere for something to eat.
