L'Usine de Spaghetti - Montréal

We didn 't need reservations here we arrived at 5:00. The menu has a lot of choices, but make sure to know what the daily specials are too, because they also are very good. Bread basket came before the meal, and we liked the small salad bar that was all you can eat . It had a lovely coleslaw that I went back for, and stuffed grape leaves, which I also went back for, along with a chickpea salad, and green salad, and add ons. For our mains my hubby had lasagna he is very picky about restaurant lasagna (because he makes the best himself! and this one ranked very highly with him. I had the Linguini Carbonara and did finish it (though I shouldn 't have it was a big portion! . We left stuffed and happy. Would definitely return. Great value!

Delicious food and great atmosphere! This restaurant is at the end of the Main Street on Old Town. It’s a great place with friendly staff, delicious food and beautifully decorated restaurant. If you order an entree you get access to their salad bar with a few dishes of fresh veggies and salad.

We had a great dinner here and our waitress was very pleasant. Every meal comes with a trip to the basic salad bar. We both had the eggplant parmigiana special and it was fabulous. Wine was moderately priced.

We were seated at Table #13 in a crowded area, situated between the salad bar and the stairs to the restroom. There was constant foot traffic with people coming and going. We politely asked to be moved to a quieter table (there was one available), but our waitress made an excuse saying it would be too complicated to switch tables. Unfortunately, we were stuck with our uncomfortable seating. The #17 item on the menu, the Monsieur Le Marie Drapeau tortellini plate, was lackluster and nothing special. Would I return or recommend this restaurant to a friend? Absolutely not. The service was poor and not worth it.

The ambience at this restaurant is nice and relaxing. The food was decent for me, but my friend thought her fettuccine with shrimp was perfect. The prices are reasonable for tourists. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch that day.
