Very good thai pad and general tao in lunch formula. Just spicy enough! price more than affordable for quality!

My boyfriend found this place to celebrate my last class of the semester and I felt like aisan, so on TripAdvisor he went and found this place with decent review right next to Atwater metro...We the reviews do NOT reflect the reality of this restaurant!The service is not great (it's not terrible either, but just the one not-so-friendly waitress who may or may not take away plates as you finish them). and the food is definitely below average. I had an apetizer of hunan dumplings, which were OK but my main dish of grilled beef was horrible. Over cooked cheap cut of oily beef, barely seasoned with rice weirdly sprinkled with dried onions. My boyfriend had the General Tao, which was good-average (very garlicky). All in all, not terrible but we will not go back.

This is my second visit and it did not disappoint. I went on a Tuesday for lunch with my daughter. I chose the Peanut Butter Dumplings with chicken. They were some of the best I ever had. My main plate was the Singapore Style Vermicelli. It was nicely seasoned with ample portions of chicken and shrimp.With such consistent good food and service, I would definitely return.

Absolutely love this restaurant. The food is great, the décor is charming, and the owner Shirley always makes us feel so welcome. A great part of Shaughnessy Village, plus its BYOW.

Beautiful decor, a little cold atmosphere because the place is often empty and I find it very bad because food is excellent and at a very affordable price in addition to being a " bring your wine"
