Le Darlington Steakhouse - Montréal

The very pricey restaurant is inside the Marriot CourtyardIt is advertised as a steakhouse to the public (not just hotel guests).

We are staying at the Marriott Courtyard and have really enjoyed the Le Darlington RestaurantThe service is excellent.

We were staying at this lovely hotel and ate breakfast there. The first day was okay, coffee was cold, but was replaced on request. The second morning the service was horrendous. Wait staff were not around, kitchen service was very, very slow. When my omelet and bacon arrived the bacon was missing. It was still missing after I had eaten the rest of the breakfast. There was no apology, just a very grumpy waiter who made it pretty clear he was not having a good day.

My mom and I are staying at the Courtyard Marriott hotel where this restaurant is located. Usually, I don't eat at hotel restaurants because they aren't always all that special and usually overpriced. However, I think Le Darlington has changed my mind. We arrived in the restaurant for a very early dinner after traveling to Montreal and were served by an excellent waiter. He immediately got drinks and bread to our table while the Pasta Primavera and Spaghetti Bolognese were being made. Everything was excellent!
