La Strada - Montréal

The Jumbo Tiger Shrimps $21.00 as mentioned on the menu comes in five (5) pieces and we have been dining here for years and always received five (5.) Last evening there were only four (4) served, asked the waiter and received a quick response of by the pound. LOL lame excuse, change menu then. Besides we cannot hardly eat the Shrimps, they were extremely salty again the waiter qualified by saying it was on garlic butter. We might be poorly dressed but our palates are used to tasting fine food so please no excuses. That poorly dressed also added to no attention from our waiter and any of the staffs, not once were we asked if the meal was ok ! Oh by the way we were told it was a new chef !!! This will be the end of our La Strada Lachine visits.

Much too expensive for what you eat. a cheese pizza and a few beef ball cut into quarters $25.This the cheapest plate of the menu. no air conditioned so we skated to make it to the toilet. $75 for two. no wine no shrimp. we were 5 and had just hate to leave.

Came at prime time super time for a birthday party which was 7 of us and of course they lost our reservation, no biggie but still not professional.

Unfortunately i have to change my rating from 4 stars to 3 starsI reserved for my birthday about two weeks in advance for a group of 8.

Excellent service and food. Recommend the chocolate ball for dessert. It's also bring your own wine, so that's a plus.
