The service from the moment you walk in the door is exceptional. The food, presentation, service, and atmosphere create a wonderful dining experience. The staff goes above and beyond - for example, they safely stored our laptop bags for us. Everyone was polite, attentive, and eager to help. The waiters even suggested ways to reduce costs (though the restaurant is upscale and a bit pricey). The steaks we ordered were large enough to share between 2 or even 3 people. I had the chance to speak with an assistant chef who praised the restaurant, the food quality, the chefs, and the management. He assured me that I had made the right choice in dining here.

The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and a classic steakhouse feel. They age their meat for at least 30 days, resulting in delicious flavors. The service is exceptional and the team took great care of our group of 5. They even show you the steak before preparing it, a nice touch. Some menu items were not available this time, but it could have been something special. I remember enjoying the cape steak, which is said to be the most flavorful part of a rib eye, during my last visit.

10/10! If you are looking for excellent seafood and want to experience Japanese A5 wagyu, this is the place. Service and overall experience was top notch. Our server Nick was very knowledgeable and gave us the ultimate experience. The rest of the staff also provided exceptional service. The moment you walk in the door you can sense something is different about this restaurant. The staff at La Queue de Cheval are amazing and are what really take things to the next level. They took the time to personalize the experience by introducing themselves, attending to our every need and ensuring we had everything required for the ultimate dining experience. From the first app to dessert, the food was fantastic. I travelled from out of town and will certainly be returning the next time I am in Montreal...with hopefully less snow!
