This is a nice place to stop if you are strolling on Sherbrooke and wish to have lunch. They have a good variety of cheeses and salads and the soupe du jour is always tasty and fresh. Their sandwiches are interesting, ncie mix of vegetarian and meaty sandwiches, all generous size. This is also a great place if you wish to cater for business lunch.we have done so for the last 10 years and always received compliments from our clients. Delivery is quick and food is well presented. Relatively cheap considering the location. The place itself also sells a good variety of cheeses.

Great place to buy good local cheese. I purchased the 5 year old cheddar outstanding. Great customer service and always willing to answer questions about the varieties of cheese they stock. A pleasure to buy here.

I have worked down the street from this place for 12 years, eat there at least once per month, and have yet to have a bad experience. Ingredients are always fresh, vinegraittes are delicious, soups always hit the spot (and the gazpacho available in the summer is beyond description). A real family vibe that I am happy to support. And great selection of cheeses at affordable prices.

I have been a patron of La Fromagerie for 25 years. During my recent visit for lunch, my daughter ordered the Pizza Baguette. Unfortunately, it did not meet her expectations. Instead of tomato sauce, it consisted of layers of salty salami under melted cheese on an open-faced baguette. The sandwich was also burnt. When we attempted to return it, the manager, Melanie, refused to take it back or issue a refund, stating that if we didn't like it, it was our problem. This was a disappointing and frustrating experience.

I am surprised to see so few reviews.... La Fromagerie is an A+ place to pick up a delicious lunch! This small and longstanding 'cheese shop ' offers a variety of fresh sandwiches, soups salads. While most patrons are local Westmounters, this place is very good mostly take out, but they do have a small number of tables to eat in as well as outdoor tables in the summer.
