Fiorellino Laurier - Montréal

It took forever for the waiter to come take our order. It was Sunday night so it wasn’t that busy. When he finally took our orders he didn’t take our menus, just left them on the table until I asked someone else to take them.He forgot to bring everyone water. For plates of pasta at $30 a plate, I expected the pasta to be exceptional and it wasn’t. Had to return the pasta al limone because it tasted nothing of lemon and it was dry. The second pasta al limone that was brought back was way too lemony. I also expected maybe some bread while we waited for our meals. When you spend $30 on a meal, you expect to get your money’s worth and I felt like I didn’t . It’s little touches like bread that at least make you feel like you got your money’s worth. For the money I spent, I could have gone to Lemeac next door for the equivalent in price. At least the quality will be top notch.

We had a nice dinner on a quiet Tuesday evening after a long weekend. The food was good and the service was excellent, but it was a rather expensive meal out.
