Ferreira Café - Montréal

We came without reservation, but they sat us, provided we clear the table in an hour and in a half. the service was fast, efficient and extremely helpful and attentive, so there was no problem with the timing. eating was the best we had outside of potugal. we started with sardines and roasted otopus for appetizers. the sardines are not as fresh as in the medium sea, but the otopus was the first to guess. the most important courses were boulliabaise, Portuguese version of paella (weather than risotto), jam of ducks and mushrooms in risotto. we finished the last drop of broth and last grain rice, as the layers of the aromen enticed our palate.

We went to Cafe Ferreira for lunch, great service, great food, we have to pay for the bread with the olive oil but it's worth it! Also, the appetizers included with the meal make this restaurant a great choice to have a fancy lunch!

Fresh food, great wine selection, the best service ever. In short, so good it made me forget the high decibel level that normally assaults me.
