Etat Major - Montréal

Menu was pretty standard but nice variety for French dishes. Food was good, but nothing exceptional. Looks like they host parties and tables for 2. The best part was the desserts, all of them looked and sounds amazing. ?

Enjoyed the dinner I had. Service is pretty good and waiters knowledgeable. Food was creative and good but missing a level to be top notch. Beef tatare was good but lacked a bit of flavour, yellow garnish had very strange texture. Had the beef for main, very tender and juice but coulve been less cooked to have a bit more colour in center... side were very good.

Food was lousy. Thinking that ordering the most expensive plate here et mare for $43 will be a good choice.. wrong size obvious the tiny little shrimps come from a frozen bag and the beouf tartare was so dry.. stay in Hochelaga cause I don’t see them in plateau miñe end etc

Had a great time at L’Etat Major in Hochelaga. The dishes here are top notch fresh and well put together. Every plate we tried had a special touch that made it stand out.The place has a nice, relaxed vibe, perfect for any occasion. The staff are friendly and really know their stuff. They made sure we had everything we needed and answered all our questions about the menu.If you're in Hochelaga and want a solid meal, definitely give L’Etat Major a try. It's a place that puts a lot of care into their food, and it shows. Can't wait to go back and try more from their menu.

Favorite spot in the city. Good food, bring your own wine. What more could you possibly ask for?
