Chef On Call - Montréal

We hired Chef on Call to cater for our yearly Research Day conference.

I've been ordering from Chef On Call for a while, probably ordered around 15-20 times in the past 3 months But everytime the delivery guy is at the door,

Very high quality late night delivery. The curly fries were great. Service was fast and friendly. Chicken sandwich was the best part of the order.

The chef uses his bare hands to put burgers and hot dogs onto the grill then into rolls. When I told the manager of the cross-contamination risk she told me, "The Chef is a clean man." Perhaps but he touches raw meat then cooked meat without disinfecting his hands. This is how diseases like cholera spread. Board of Health should shut this place down!

We were staying at a suite hotel and wanted something between fancy restaurant and generic takeout and this was perfect. Veggie burger was delish (as were the curly fries) and huge! Salads were yummy. Good place to know about for a step up on comfort food.
