Chee Chan - Montréal

The kitchen is good. Our experience was centered around an oriental dish with pork, shrimp, and a highly spiced sauce that we shared. For dessert, we had fried bananas with ice cream and maple syrup, accompanied by condiments that I wish I had brought home to enjoy again. The service was excessive, with the lady taking care of our table providing excellent attention. The cost-quality ratio was also very good.

Don't be put off by the questionable appearance and smoky atmosphere of this restaurant. Try the Tao General Chicken and sit further away to avoid the smoke. It is a standout dish in this cafeteria-style kitchen. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the variety of vegetables surpasses what you typically find. It may be a bit pricier, but it is well worth the extra cost.
