Burger Fiancé - Montréal

Would you like to satisfy a fast food desire? HERE! I didn't expect it! We were looking for a place to eat not too far from the old port and we came over this restaurant! Wow! I have no words. I shared a poutine and a devotionburger and it was all that a good old fast food line could promise, and VEGAN! I'll definitely be back when I'm in Montreal. (Call in advance if you are more than 5 people, apparently. Although the restaurant was only half full and it was past noon so the rush, one would think the waitress who welcomed us was NOT PLEASED to see us coming... I think this is the only negative point of my experience... It was just enough to fit 6 people and a baby on 2 tables, but she really made us feel that it wasn't okay and we should have turned off. I'm glad we didn't, but anyway!

Enjoyed the Gyro and the Fiance Burger. Kimchi fries were great! Casual indoor seating, easy walk from Notre Dame Basilica.

Came on a rainy Sunday lunchtime but a real warm welcome. Great menu and nice ambience inside. Had the Tokyo burger with fries perfect. Possibly the best plant based burger I’ve had. And the fries were good. The milk shakes sound worth a try but I didn’t!

We stopped on for a fast lunch, and were very impressed with these burgers. Onion rings were excellent as well.

I don’t often do vegan burgers but choice was limited on 26th December. The pulled shiitake alternative to pork with coleslaw was awesome! The side of poutine was a dish on its own and salty as always. I just don’t think poutine is for me… Service started to get a bit stretched as I was finishing up but the person serving handled everything well and was compassionate! I had issues with my card and connection so ended up paying $25 cash which left only a tiny tip sadly. If going as a group of 4 or less would recommend booking ahead for the window seats
