Brit and Chips - Montréal

Great fish and chips restaurant with a wide selection of different fish salmon, cod and haddock. I had the salmon and my partner had the cod. Both were tasty and unlike the chips served with poutine these were nice and crispy.

We had cod burger, haddock and French fries. Second time visit for us and the food is always great. Clean, fast friendly service every time

This place is overhyped!! The prices are too high for just a few fries and a fried fish. The fish was too salty and greasy. Way too pricey for what is essentially junk food.

The fish and chips were disappointingly overcooked and nearly black in color, lacking the traditional light golden brown appearance. The batter was soggy and the chips were thin with scraggly ends. It seems like the oil may need to be changed more frequently. The peas were served cold and when reheated, they were still not up to par as they were more like mashed and creamed peas rather than traditional mushy peas. The service lacked a friendly smile, unlike other places in Canada where people are welcoming and helpful. Overall, it was not a good experience and I would not choose to dine there again.
