Bistro Sur la Riviere - Montréal

I've been seeing this bistro since it opened. safe for lovers of bavette and fries (they are excellent.) slate menu: meat dishes, pasta, fish.

This restaurant was our second choice in a quiet neighborhood and we're so glad the first choice was closed. The staff are friendly and fortunately we got a table right away in this small, cozy place. The food was tasty. We are pleased this restaurant was near our lodging.

What a lovely bistro! perfect reception, impeccable service, short but interesting menu and wine menu at a low price! I opted for the entrance of simple and refreshing celery-rave because the suite was going to be sturdy: a beautiful, cooked little dip with fries and salad. To dessert I shared a succulent Queen Elizabeth cake. Run it, but book it because it's a very small room. It is also the perfect place if you have tickets for the theatre the free space located not very far because you will benefit from a discount of 15.% the total happiness tell you!

It’s very small, it’s better to book. a few choices of entrances and dishes, what we ate was good. The only thing to deplore is that the dishes are all served with fries and/or green salad, no fresh vegetable is proposed, which should be the case for the price requested.

Very good, fine cuisine, beef bath to fall, real fried potatoes (like they are loved in belgium,) fresh, homemade, warm staff, family atmosphere, good value for money :-)
