Big in Japan Bar - Montréal

Un bar caché, sans enseigne, sans logo, sans rien... Tellement bien caché que nous sommes passé devant la porte une bonne dizaine de fois sans trouver! De jeunes gens locaux nous ont guidés par la suite. Un décor sublime, lumière tamisée, personnel tiré à quatre épingles, wahou!!!!! La carte est originale, élégante, presque sensuelle. En un mot: classe.

Excellent cocktails and terrific service. Funky place hidden in plain sight behind a nondescript and graffitied black metal door. The atmosphere and decor only add to the vibe. Don't miss it when in Montreal, better to go closer to opening time to secure a seat.

Looks like nothing from the outside, just another door in a brick wall. Then you step into a long dark corridor with walls covered over with curtains, very underground feeling, then you step into a wonderful lit room, with very cool sitting areas, I had a Tokyo Mule and loved it, was a lot of fun.

Tasty cocktails and very cool layout is worth a stop for a drink. we wouldn't be friends who knew the door past the door looking for the black door!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, located in Montreal's Jewish neighborhood. The entrance is discreet, with just a gray door adorned with small Japanese letters. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was chic. Definitely worth a visit.
