Bagel Etc. - Montréal

A classic diner with a tonne character. Apparently this was one of leonard cohen's old hunting and it's easy to see why given the extensive menu, delicious eating, friendly staff and convenient location. after a morning of shopping and the exploration of the neighboring it really has reached the place.

Nous y avons brunché deux fois en famille (3 filles de 8, 10 et 12 ans) tellement on a adoré. Chouette déco vintage, serveurs et serveuses sympas. Plats délicieux et copieux. On a découvert à la fin que c'était aussi apprécié de Leonard Cohen...pas surprenant...

Delicious delicious delicious. I had the Viateur bagel and it did not disappoint. The cream cheese is the perfect amount, the lox is a good quality and quantity, tomatoes fresh, onion cut thin and roasted potatoes with the most delicious seasoning. If you're planning a trip to Montreal you need to add this to your agenda, it's a must! Tip: this restaurant is cash only so either prepare to use the machine in house or bring it with you.

Great find in the city of Montreal. Very eclectic design for a restaurant. It is a little loud but that is a positive part of the whole experience. The server was good and prompt. The food came quick and was very tasty. Great bagels and Russian style bread. Smoked salmon was awesome. Owner was friendly and made a special effort to get to know us which was rare in the restaurant world these days but much appreciated. Highly recommended.

We had breakfast here and our waitress was very good; we each ordered a different breakfast and all of us were satisfied.
