Przekaż informację zwrotnąI was invited by some NDG friends to meet for dinner. One of them suggested this place I had never heard of but I was open to experiencing something new. I arrived and found my friend was already seated and enjoying a drink. The waitress immediately presented herself and asked for my drink order. I ordered an extra-dry martini. As I was catching up with my friend the waitress arrived with my drink and informed me that it was on the house because of the wait. I hadn't noticed much of a wait but I thanked her and I was immediately impressed with the class and service of this place. The rest of the evening would not disappoint.Unbeknownst to us, the place was hosting a soiree with former Montreal Expos players as part of a charity event. They arrived and many of the other patrons were abuzz taking pictures and getting autographs. Still, this did not interfere with the service at all. Our food and drinks were delivered promptly and our waitress was attentive despite the main event that had taken over the place. More than this, the owner found a way to host the event and still have time to come over and talk to us, offering us a few drinks on the house. As far as the food goes, the pizza we ordered was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the toppings plentiful. The crust was light and the sauce was present but not overwhelming. Our starter salad and our dessert were appreciated by all. Every element of the food we ordered was without flaw.More than anything though, it was the service that stood out. I was greeted at the door with a smile by the owner, Andree (a gentleman if I've ever met one) and then tended to with care and attention throughout the evening by our waitress Ann and other staff.I can't say enough about how friendly and warm the experience was for all our party this night. This little place on Monkland has impressed me to no end. I look forward to my next visit!
Visited with family, place is warm and with friendly staff and service. Pizza choices are great and quality is definitely gourmet.
From the outside the restaurant looks nice. Nice and new. The place was pretty empty when i went. As far as pizza goes, it is nothing special. While not bad, i have certainly had a lot better. I find the atmosphere of nutella everywhere cheapens the place. Even the servers were wearing nutella branded shirts. How cheesy.Service could have been better. As the place was pretty empty, they had a lot of staff waiting around with nothing to do. Service was quick, almost too quick. I barely had the time to look at the menu before i was asked if I knew what i wanted to eat. The pizza itself came a short while later. Then I was barely finished eating when they came around to clean up my plate. Then all of a sudden, now that the meal was over, i had a hard time getting someone's attention to get the bill and then to get it paid. What was the rush in the beginning? It was not like the place filled up afterwards. Not too sure I would go back to this place. There are better pizza places not too far away.
Newly opened location on Monkland and Royal. Have had several nice meals at the Westmount location. Good cocktails. Started with the Nancy Chop salad. Very good. Tasty arancini appetizer. Then onto a good quality pizza -- try the Bolzano. Crust is just right. Too full for dessert but I've had them before -- try the Nutella based sweets! Good selection of cafes (no tea -- really?!?). Service was friendly.
We were looking for a quick dinner before a concert, and my brother in law suggested Bacaro. Needless to say, it was amazing. The specials were truly special, we shared pizzas and salads. The way of Nutella is something to behold. I think it will be a "must do" the next time we head north.
