The bacon was just the right crispness and twice the width of other fast food chains. A tasty hash brown complemented the bacon and eggs. The bread was toasted nicely and brushed lightly with some butter. It was soft but yet still firm. The coffee beans used for the coffee are organically grown in Mexico. Coffee is served in a ceramic mug and it was one of the best cups of coffee I’ve had for breakfast in a diner like setting. I’ll definitely have breakfast at A&W again and I would say they lead the pack compared to other well known fast food chains.
We wanted to try the new famous beyond burger . First the gentleman at the cash not very friendly and was slow. The kids working the back kitchen and drive through, well let 's just say they don 't take their job seriously. All they were doing is talking amongst themselves and not paying attention to the orders coming through. We ordered 2 beyond burger trios plus 1 junior burger, it cost us $30.00. That 's a little expensive for fast food. The establishment itself is disgusting. There 's garbage on the floor, the tables and booths were all dirty. This place needs someone to come in and reorganize.
We visited the location of A&W at 8400 Christophe-Colomb on a Sunday afternoon in August. We were there about noon. The restaurant was not full, but it was surprisingly busy. There was a constant flow of customers, many ordering to take out. We ordered a Chicken Grill (surprisingly, the clerk could not find the Chicken Grill button on the registered and had to ask for assistance from a colleague) and a Teen Burger combo with an iced tea and a root beer. Our meals were brought to our table quickly. Everything was fine and tasty. Traveller's tip: the restaurant in located on the south-west corner of the intersection of Christophe-Colomb and Crémazie; access from Crémazie eastbound or Christophe-Colomb southbound. Traveller's tip 2: the restaurant is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There is ample parking behind the restaurant.
The patties are tender and juicy, while the buns are even softer.
Fast-food is fast-food. I cannot not recommend ? Not many things opened after midnight.
