I find everything on the menu to be delicious, but my favorite dish is the burrito bowl. You have the option to choose your type of rice, meat, and a variety of add-ons. The sweet potatoes are particularly outstanding! Another dish I enjoy is the chili. The service is quick and friendly, and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant has a cantina-style atmosphere with wood benches and stainless steel tabletops. Meals are served on aluminum platters instead of plastic plates, adding to the overall experience. It is worth noting that the owners and staff are not of Latin descent, so speaking Spanish will not be necessary.
I went to have lunch in that Mexican restaurant downtown Montreal with an ex-colleague. The cafeteria style service was efficient and made with humour. The choice of food was pretty large and the price was friendly. They are not picky on the size of the portions and we found our meals french and delicious. The ideal place for workers who don't have a lot of time for their lunch.
This is a fast food, counter service restaurant offering Mexican flavours. The food is prepared in the kitchen and then kept hot at the counter. I was there at lunch time so everything was tasting fairly fresh. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl. It consisted of a bed of rice and beans topped with chicken, vegetables, cheese and a big scoop of guacamole. I didn't try a margarita but they are available. The seating does the trick for a fast food lunch. It's certainly not the kind of place you'd linger for a relaxing meal. It's decent food and good servings at a reasonable price.
Leaving the jazz fest, I stopped here with my wife and we were nicely surprised with the quality of the food and the fast and friendly service. I got the shredded pork and my wife had the Pollo a la plancha both very tasty , accompanied with lime-cilantro rice, vegetables, black beans and salsa. Very good assortment of spicy sauces. The burrito bowl size is plenty for a hungry tourist! Very nice place, I 'll return for sure!
I was in the area and had a strong craving for Mexican food. I noticed this restaurant was just a block away, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a burrito and chili, both of which were tasty. The portion sizes were average, but I felt satisfied after the meal. It seemed there were two types of chicken available, but they didn't ask me which one I preferred and gave me the more expensive option. This was my only complaint - I would have appreciated more communication, especially since it was my first time dining there. The atmosphere was pleasant, with bar seating by the window for people-watching. It was a great option for solo diners who don't want to feel awkward about taking up a whole table.
