Allo Mon Coco - Montréal

My wife and I had a great breakfast here and there is an extensive breakfast menu. It might be the only place in the Brossad shopping area that is open at 7am. The waitress recommended the fresh squeezed orange juice and I am happy I took her up on her suggestion as it was very good. I had the Acai Bowl with came with yogurt, bananas, chia seeds, muesli, and almond milk It was large and filling. We would definitely go back there.

This place is overrated. Quality is always preferred over quantity and unfortunately, this place piles it on instead of preparing something nice. Our plates were packed and I got scrambled eggs instead of fried. I had to wait as the rest of the breakfast cooled. (It wasn’t particularly hot to begin with. . If you are hungover and ravenous, then maybe it would be okay. I won’t be back.

Our family was spending Christmas in Montreal and we went here for breakfast twice. Teenagers, seniors and the in-between alike loved the food. Eight of us sampled a wide variety of different breakfast dishes, probably 12 to 14 different dishes altogether and there were no complaints at all. The coffee was great, and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Next time when we go back to Montreal, guess where we are going for breakfast?

I am reviewing the Allo Mon Coco at the Galeries d'Anjou. The food preparation, Po réservation and the service are always excellent AT THIS LOCATION. Prices are like any of the other chain breakfast restaurants.

Been here a few times and now I know I'm done. My grilled cheese plate which come with tasteless cube patatoes is $12.00 My husbands plate with 2 eggs, COLD tasteless cube patatoes, bacon and toast is $11.00 That to me does not make sense!
