We only had a hot chocolate break which was pleasant because that day the temperature was low and a heavy downpour erupted. Good time in this pleasant place
Dear Hello to those who read my comment on this restaurant which is delicious, it awakened in me sensations that I had never experienced. I recently had the pleasure of dining at this exceptional establishment and would like to acknowledge the excellence of the dining experience, especially when it comes to the fried lobsters. This particular dish truly captivated my taste buds with a perfect fusion of flavors and remarkable culinary execution. The freshness of the lobsters was undeniable, demonstrating the obvious concern for the quality of the ingredients used. Each bite was a true delight, the delicate texture of the perfectly preserved lobster meat and the crispy breading adding an extra dimension to this taste experience. The chef deserves praise for managing to balance the flavors so subtly, allowing the distinctive taste of the lobster to shine while providing harmony with the accompaniments. The seasoning was just right, enhancing the dish without ever masking the natural flavor of the lobster. Don't hesitate to go to this restaurant, you will never be disappointed, not like with your spouse(s) in bed!!! HAHAHAHA…
We ate for the second time in Place Jean Jaures and this was in a different class to nearby competitors. An interesting menu, good friendly service and well prepared dishes.Grilled melon and tomato salad or a delicious rare tuna with a herby crust to start; calamari and steak and chips to follow. Decent wines. A very pleasant reasonable meal.
We live near Montpellier for over 12 years and know the city centre well, especially this pretty square which is sunny and relaxed with bars and bistros.Sadly, we experienced our worst ever lunch we have ever had last week in this lovely town, at this restaurant. The entree was a terrine which was not cooked and the sauce was really disgusting, followed by a 'croustian d'agneau' probably de frosted, with a salad (roughly chopped tomato, salad leaves). The waitress was pleasant but when the second 'plat' was over half an hour late we were ready to leave ! This was not mid summer when the town is full of tourists, but a mid week sunny day - no excuse for delays - may be a bad day for the chef? but we doubt it . We should have gone to our favorites restaurant La Coquille further up Rue Foch!
