We were great! On the way back from Chiavari, on Sunday evening, we stopped in this country trattoria where you can breathe an atmosphere of past times. The owners are very interesting and empathic people, who gladly tell you their story. The lady, who does the translator and the writer and who in the weekend kitchen, has passion and culture. She prepares fresh pasta, bread, focaccia, cakes. The peas with walnut sauce were spectacular. So the noodles to the ragù. Honest price. In two we did not reach 40 euros. We then resumed the trip of great mood. There's still a lot of valuable people in the world! We'll be back.

Among the heights of Montoggio, a charming place in the hinterland of Genoa, is this restaurant with a somewhat vintage 1970s furniture, nice and welcoming. The lady, of Ferrara origins but transplanted in Liguria, cuisine with passion especially first dishes of the tradition, made by hand, but also excellent salt cakes. It's worth stopping!
