Agriturismo Il Pero - MONTOGGIO

Finally after the disdedication of Easter, cause fevers and plaques and those who have more placed it on the part of my boy, we managed to stay in this beautiful farm right at the doors of Siena, recommended by my sister who had already been. We were greeted by Gianni, the owner. A very kind, nice and helpful person to give you any advice and information you need. The farm is very cozy and decorated perfectly in Tuscan style with a beautiful garden and a gazebo with tables to enjoy the quiet. The rooms are well-kept and very nice. We had the chance to sleep one night in a double room while the other we passed it in the only apartment consisting of a kitchenette, a living room with sofa bed and the double bedroom as well as the bathroom present in each room of the farm clearly. In the morning Gianni accompanies all guests in the breakfast room as they leave the rooms. Small room with excellent and wide choice of cakes, cookies and homemade briochins with possibility to have breakfast salty to those who like. I hope to return one day since we adore Siena and Tuscany.

I was the day of August. The place is very rustic and suggestive even if to reach it you must have a means as it is located at the top of a mountain. The owner is a good and very polite person. Sweet notes: very slow service and little food in the dishes. The dishes are of excellent quality, all produced by them but I would have expected much more abundance, especially in the appetizers and in the second dishes. On the cover nothing to say, I would rather pay a little more but go out satiated with the full belly.

I've spent so many times in the last three years and I haven't seen the stable and two big dogs are in the fence that led to the entrance of the farm

I have been with my family in this farm for the day of Easter. All very good. A little slow, but for Easter lunch it is bearable.

Great food, special company and then the owner character of this farm!!!! Nice!! !
