Gilson - Montijo

Small restaurant for 8 or 10 tables, so I guess if you want to have dinner on weekend it is better to call and book a table. Service is great. People working there are very attentive and kind. Food is quite simple but very tasty and presented in a way that's joyful for your eyes. I've been there twice and I will surely go again.

We had a great dinner here on our first night. The service and the food was excellent and was a very reasonable price. It was exactly what we were looking for. We will try to get back before we leave, but we will definitely get there again the next time we make the trip. Thank you so much!

Very occasionally when traveling the world we come across a remarkable family run restaurant. Restaurante Gilson is one. Unassumingly set in a residential neighborhood the service and food presentation is exceptional. While Montijo May not be in your travel plans, make a real effort to enjoy this gem. You will not be disappointed.

Foi uma agradável surpresa conhecer finalmente o restaurante do Sr. João. Excelente qualidade em fazer as entradas, pratos principais e sobremesas. Tudo foi maravilhoso e fomos recebidos com a simpatia que os caracteriza, certamente voltaremos.
