Bar L'Ovalie - Montignac

A quaint and traditional French street bar/restaurant. Very accommodating for poor French speaking English people. We were also able to sit a a restaurant table and order crepes only (some restaurants don't allow this). We had lovely crepes and some soft drinks for a very fair 21 euros.

After 20 mins of no service we just left.

Service trop long pour juste des café et jus d'orange. Ne prend pas la CB ni les tickets restaurants...seule la terrasse est sympa près de la rivière et abritée se la pluie et su soleil.

Excellent accueil, service à toute heure, rare à Montignac.Les plats sont bons et prix corrects au bord de la vezere.

We were after a snack and drink between lunch and dinner service,after kayaking along the Vezere and Bar L'Ovalie was perfect. A very welcoming and accommodating waitress served us lovely Croque Madames and salad followed by a huge ice-cream. Just what we needed!
