Chinatown Kitchen - Monticello

Absolutely avoid this restaurant! I ordered a late dinner to treat myself and my family after a long day at work. While the smell was enticing, the food was truly disappointing. The house lo mein was unappetizing, and the spare ribs were burnt. I specifically requested no vegetables in one of my orders, yet they were included. When I called the next day to address the issue, the staff member told me that’s just how it’s prepared and made no effort to accommodate my request. I ended up wasting $53 when I could have easily cooked at home.

When you're in Monticello order your Chinese from here. Take out only. But it's by far the BEST! When locals come back to visit this is one of the places they stop!

The food was incredible, fresh, and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this place!

Mediocre experience overall—nothing stood out. The chicken wings were greasy and tasted like they were refried rather than fresh. I won't be returning.

The lunch specials aren't available on their website. However, the best deal is the mixed vegetables in garlic sauce served with vegetable fried rice, priced at just $6.55.
