Ameca Mexican - Monticello

So happy we tried something new by going here! The place is so beautiful inside and CLEAN! My taco salad was really unique and delicious. It cooked chicken a white queen. I was a little taken back when I first started eating it and really ended enjoying. Salsa was good and not too hot. You need more lure appeal. You can't say how great the inside is outside. Maybe rent a glass painter to make it pretty? Our waiter was great too. Texas girl approved!

Service was good. The food was ok at best. Got the vegetarian plate #1. I couldn't tell what I got really cause everything was completely covered in cheese sauce. There seemed to be more sauce than food.

Food is once again excellent. They had excellent service and delicious food. I'd eat here a lot.

Ordered Fajita Nachos as an appetizer, beef, chicken and shrimp, very delicious taste wise, unfortunately all of the meats were either tough or slightly rubbery. Ordered the Ameca Fajita for 2 and surprisingly the meats were the same. The beans, rice, veggies and guacamole are top shelf. I will not recommend the watermelon Margarito, to sweet for my wife, I concur. If you're craving some South of the border flavor, Ameca's will definitely satisfy your taste buds.

Wow! Friendly staff, very very fast and good priced food, nice atmosphere, and clean! Probably my favorite Mexican restaurant now.
