Then the casual choice of an Agriturismo out of hand, led us to discover an excellent cuisine, an efficient and educated service, in an ideal environment. I bow to the fried cake of a young but great cook, without leaving the rest of the lunch (good) All at a really low and deserved cost.
I read other positive but dated reviews. For us, it is unfair: bad service, untreated local and food, the restaurant, is something else. Pious and fasoi cooked with the beans removed a moment before from the pot (glass hope but I think more can) with the same sauce base of the gnocchetti to the ragù d'anatra (sinked because the pi would be good). But if in a farm you can accept spartan dishes, if good (like artichokes) what does the fried potatoes or the frozen oven have to do? Run before dessert, after two hours....
The environment is nice but nothing special, the staff is kind and polite. The choice of dishes is poor as well as portions, value for money definitely non-existent. Exaggeratedly dear! It has nothing of the traditional farm. I don't recommend it.
Farm name, but not in fact! Menù à la carte, (almost unusual for a farm) rather expensive, quantity of the courses very poor. Absolutely not recommended.
I knew this famous restaurant, only today, but I could try it... I can only say that it is all excellent, from the quality of the dishes to the kindness of the hosts, with that pinch of humor that made everything even more enjoyable. The gastronomic offer is really amazing, each dish is both original and homely, simple and refined, beautiful as well as good. Refined with elder compote, roasted zucchini around goats and mints, mini eggplants with parmigiana, onion crostini and raisins, chickpeas...this was only a part of the appetizer, and we had to stop at the first because the generous portions had the best on our greed as well as on our hunger... Sweets are superlative. Recommended.
