We were the only customers there, but delivery people kept coming in and out. The queso burrito was amazing, especially with the homemade tortilla. The sweet tea was also really good, not overly sweet. They provide directions to the restaurant for everyone in Montgomery. The chips were hot and fresh, just like you'd find in a cantina.
I had been looking forward to dining at this restaurant for a few weeks since I visited Taco Bell across the street. When I finally went, I had a pleasant experience with the staff, particularly Nita who was very helpful in explaining the menu items I was interested in. The portions were generous and the service was great. I especially enjoyed the smokey flavor of the chicken and the full-flavored drink. The restroom and dining area were both very clean. The only downside was the chips, as they seemed to be store-bought and had a lot of small bits at the bottom of the bag. Overall, my dining experience was great. However, I would caution against entering the parking area from the Walmart side, as there are two large potholes that could damage your car or cause trouble for bikers. It seems that the property owner should address this issue as it reflects poorly on the business.
They used to outshine Moe's and Chipotle, but now I would say they are on par. The customer service and flavor of the food have declined slightly. It's still good, but not exceptional. This burrito place offers standard options like rice, beans, steak/chicken/pork, cheese, lettuce, pico, and various salsas. Their guacamole and cheese dip with exceptional chips stand out due to their delicious seasoning. The kids' meals are smaller, but include a fried donut treat. The customer service is reliable.
I have visited this restaurant twice now, and both times it was chosen by the group I was with. While everything was satisfactory, I personally wouldn't choose to dine here on my own. Despite my love for Mexican cuisine, there was something lacking for me.
This restaurant is a fantastic option for a quick lunch. It follows the typical build-your-own burrito style of a Mexican restaurant, but they offer more than just burritos. You can also choose from bowls, quesadillas, salads, or appetizers. The burrito and queso were tasty, but the standout item was definitely the seasoned tortilla chips. The service was fast and friendly, making it an ideal spot for a lunch break. I will definitely be back to try some of their other dishes.
