Ransom's Steakhouse Saloon - Montgomery

Was passing through Montgomery and decided to stop in. Great customer service. We both got chicken fried steak. They were really good. They were flavored well and we enjoyed the cream gravy. Sweet potato fries, baked potato and corn were good. The friedokra was good, but a little underdone. Great rolls.

My parents just ate here. My mom ordered a bowl of potato soup and found this piece of plastic in it. When she talked to the waitress, the waitress said she would ask ?in the back? about it but ultimately the staff did nothing about it. No one came outto talk to them or offer an apology. Did they assume my mom planted it in the bowl in hopes of getting a free meal??? My parentshave eaten there before and are honest, hard-working people. If my mom had swallowed that piece of plastic it could haveseriously injured her or perhaps worse. Thank the Lord, she didn?t. None of my family will ever eat at this restaurant again andif anyone chooses to do so after reading this review, you best check your food. Shame on the waitress and staff who undoubtedlyassumed the worst of my parents and didn?t even have the decency to apologize.

If your looking for Kirby's, this is not the place for you. However this is a great place and love the flavor of local meat. Portions are great as well as the prices. Great beer selection. If you're local, these kind of places are where we should begoing.
