Bentwater Yacht And Country Club

Attention all families considering a move to Bentwater: look elsewhere. My previous post was removed by the monitors, but I feel it's important to share my experience nonetheless. If you have children and are under 55, this community may not be the right fit for you. According to Patti, Bentwater has strict rules against trick-or-treating. If you go to a house with its porch light on, you risk being reprimanded for simply ringing the doorbell on Halloween night. Additionally, the mandatory club membership feels like nothing more than a money grab. There are limited activities for kids, and the environment can be unfriendly, with children having to avoid speeding cars and potentially upsetting the retirees for just being kids. So to reiterate: if you have children, seriously consider other options before moving here.

We live here and we love the neighborhood. We couldn't ask for any better neighbors. I love it here.

The room at the villa was clean, but, sparse. No mini fridge and no temp control! Fortunately, the weather was mild so it wasn't an issue. The bed was super hard, though, so, we didn't sleep well at all. The food at the Crescent Grille was just OK. However, we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor patio with fire pit and view of the lake since the weather was good. Our bartender and server Roberto made the visit a pleasurable experience with his outstanding customer service and good drinks, so, overall we had a good visit.

I recently hosted my daughter’s wedding shower at the yacht club, and we chose this location for its stunning view. It turned out to be an excellent decision. The food and staff exceeded our expectations. Kam was fantastic in helping us with the setup, and Dominique made sure everything went smoothly on the day of the event. From the coordinators to the waitstaff and bartender, the entire team was friendly, efficient, and contributed to making our event a memorable one that everyone is still talking about. Thank you all for creating such beautiful memories.

Coordinated a wedding here last weekend of March 2019. We overtook the villas and the Country Club for rehearsal dinner brunch the day after. I must say the staff was outstanding. Devin was on hand for both rehearsal brunch. Food was very good and service was spot on! We even had last minute changes (needed a screen projector) and they took care of everything. We worked with Jillian and Colleen for the wedding reception at the Yacht Club. A few last minute hiccups, but all was taken care of. With a guest list of 250, I would say it was pretty much flawless. And both ladies were on hand during the entire day. Would highly recommend this venue and their staff for events.
