Madison Café - Montevideo

I love this place. It's modest, so don't expect imagination, but what they have is good. I especially recommend for simple, healthy dishes. Today I had her grilled chicken breast with mash pumpkin. It was delicious!!! And I'm in quarantine in a hotel. The food came in time and nice and hot!!! Her Milanesa (Veal or Chicken) is also good, and Steak is excellent! again, simply cut, but well prepared. My mom raves over her cannon.

That's a very local and modest place to eat and drink, but still not cheap for a place of its calibre. Just like any other restaurant in Montevideo. The staff is good though.

I came here once and the food was good. I came here a 2nd time, ordered the same thing and it was HORRIBLE. The mashed potato was wet, the fish had absolutely no taste. I was appalled, I took one bite, then 2 bites, paid and left. I will not visit again.

Convenient to Hotel Orpheo. Menu was unpriced.
