Great and cheap beer and food I recommend the curry and chicken nuggets. Thomas and Rosa, the owners, are great and will make you feel welcome. Recommended for a cold night with friends. The German theme is huge plus.

I would definitely go back to Bremen without thinking twice because it is a bar that is not ostentatious at all, and does not boast about being the only one in Montevideo dedicated to serving German beers in boots. They may not have an extensive beer list beyond the standard lagers, but they taste even better when paired with the Bratwurst sausages served at the bar.

The best German bar in Montevideo. Served with a very good vibe by its owners, it offers delicious beers and very good German food. It is an environment where customers share with the people they came with and with those they did not.

Very cozy, very good athmosphere! But it could be overcrowded being too popular.
