Rostipollos y Algo Mas - Monterrey

Mientras visitábamos a la familia en Monterrey, pasamos por este lugar y los olores que salían de ahí ¡eran increíbles! ¡Decidimos llevar comida para llevar al día siguiente para la cena (la cena mexicana suele ser alrededor de las 3-4). Y estoy muy contento de haberlo hecho! El lugar es propiedad y está operado por una familia joven muy agradable. ¡Las comidas son simples pero deliciosas! Todo tiene la cantidad justa de especias y sabor. Pedimos 2 ofertas de pollo con 3 guarniciones y refrescos (menos de $20 con propina), así que en total fueron 6 guarniciones, pudimos probar todas sus guarniciones. Fue comida más que suficiente para 4 adultos y 4 niños, ¡tuvimos sobras que calentamos perfectamente para tentempiés nocturnos! Hablan inglés perfectamente (yo hablo español pero mi esposo no). Todo es fresco y hecho diariamente desde cero. Nos encanta encontrar estos tesoros escondidos cuando viajamos. La próxima vez probaremos su Arrachera. En una nota aparte, noté que casi en todos lados a los locales les gusta su carne "muy hecha", incluso piden "quemada", solo avísales cuando pidas, la prepararán como a ti te guste.

While visiting family in Monterrey, we were walking by and the smells coming from this place were amazing!!! We decided to do take out the next day for dinner (Mexican dinner time is usually around 3-4ish). I 'm so glad we did. The place is owned and operated by a very nice young family. The meals are simple but oh so delicious! Everything has just the right amount of spice and flavor. We had 2 of the chicken with 3 sides and soda specials (less than $20 with tip), so 6 sides in all, we got to try all their sides. It was more than enough food for 4 adults and 4 kids, we had left overs that heated up nicely for late night snacks. They speak perfect English (I speak Spanish but my husband doesn 't). Everything is fresh and made daily from scratch. We love finding these kinda hidden treasures when we travel. We will be trying their Arrachera next time. On a separate note, I notice just about everywhere, the locals here like their meats cooked well-done , they 'll even ask for charred , just let them know when you order, they will make it the way you like it.
