Revolucion Verde - Monterrey

Great place to go when you are looking for comfort vegan food. The dishes are well prepared and the result is a very tasty, flavorful dish!

First time we went there was amazing. The food were delicious, the service was excellent, and the place was decent. Second time, the service was slow and the staff were not as friendly as the first time. Perhaps something happened at that time. However, the food’s quality remained the same. Hopefully, their mood doesn’t affect their services. Try the coffee, it tasted different than any other coffee I have every tried.

The food was extremely delicious. Although it took a bit of time, it was definitely worth the wait. We ordered 4 dishes, Quesadilla Mexicana with Papa Chicharrón, Chicken Free Burger, Torta Revoluciónaria with Trompo and my personal favourite Migada with Mole. I’ve been wanting to taste mole, however I was not able to find mole that does not contain lard. Revolución Verde provided me with vegan mole and it does not disappoint. The service was on point. Friendly and attentive staff. The ambience was lovely with pretty decor and soothing music. Prices are also reasonable. Would really love to come by again and order another mole and try other items in the menu.

Buscando alguna opción vegetariana descubrí Revolución Verde, un lugar sencillo, un poco escondido en la lateral de Av. Revolución.Encontré platillos sabrosos y de buen precio. Bebidas; Jamaica con canela y limonada con pepino se incluyen en el combo de 2 quesadillas, grandes, bien servidas. opciones de guisos; huitlacoche, flor de calabaza, berenjena y nopales. Volveré para probar otros platillos. Ofrecen desayunos y platillos de fin de semana.

Sinceramente, la comida es muy básica, sin demasiado sabor o sazón; se quedan con que lo vegano son vegetales, sin pensar en hacer de la comida una experiencia. Sinceramente, ni llegaría a calificarla de casera. La variedad del menú es muy pobre, se limitan a replicar en versión vegana los típicos platos mexicanos; la verdad esperaba mas creatividad. El servicio no es el mejor.
