Pizzeria Da Ely - MONTEROSSO AL MARE

Sera a base di pesce con insalata di polpo e spaghetti con frutti di mare. Volevo pesce ed ely felicemente soddisfatto me. ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

E' stata una piacevole scoperta. piatti deliziosi, personale cordiale attento e disponibile, prezzi molto più che onesti! per coloro che passano da Monterosso tappa obbligatoria!

We had an amazing lunch, we arrived just before 2pm and they normally close at 2pm but they were happy to let us in. As it is winter we sat inside, lovely atmosphere, cosy and lovely decorated. We ordered a starter and a main, pasta, mussels and pizza. All the dishes were amazing, beautiful presented and tasted great. The people were very friendly and even gave our kids a little present for the tradition La Brefana. We highly recommend this restaurant, it was one of the best ones we ate during our Italy trip.

Very sorry to say that my husband got sick after eating the spaghetti frutti di mare. I ate meat) We ate exactly the same except the seafood. One day destroyed on the holiday. The restaurant have too look after the hygiene routines in the kitchen!!!

My wife and I arrived in Monterosso al Mare for the first week of our vacation around Cinque Terre. Where to eat? Our hotel Villa Steno…..a wonderful place plotted several recommendations on a map. One of the places we tried was Ely. Here are some of the pros and cons: Pros: There was lots of seating inside and on the patio, but most people were outside since the weather for late September was warm. So did we and it was a good choice. We had a couple of Pasta with Seafood dishes not the same, but similar. Both were fine. I've never been a fan of light sauces, but restaurants in Italy are changing my mind. Like most restaurants in Cinque Terre, the value was quite good especially for people from the US. Cons: The server was efficient, but never cracked a smile or asked how things were. In fact, every server I spotted seemed sullen. A bunch of Italian robots. Ely opened at 7 PM which is standard for the area, but a bit late for us Americans. We’d give Ely a qualified recommendation keeping in mind there are so many other places to choose in town.
